Data Quality Analyst
Improve the efficiency/effectiveness of data in order to reduce the challenges and improve management reporting. The Data Quality Associate uses existing software tools to identify and to correct inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and duplicate account records in the Oracle Order Management System and Dunn and Bradstreet data integration.
Successful candidate must have experience with Oracle's E-business Suite.
This position drives daily tasks associated with Data Quality Management (DQM) strategic data initiatives including daily maintenance (eg, cleansing, de-duplication) and change-request related data updates. The incumbent will perform merge, purge and account consolidations required or upon need. On a periodic basis, the incumbent will also perform quality assurance reviews to determine level of adherences to established procedures.
The Data Quality Associate is responsible for reviewing both converted and newly entered data for potential account duplicates, data input accuracy and consistency, and other data quality management tasks while applying any corrections required using the data quality management (DQM) tools provided by the Oracle system. The Data Quality Associate is responsible for maintaining and managing Dunn and Bradstreet data and its integration with the Oracle system as well as assisting users with questions related to this data or internal application use of this data. The analyst will use the D&B tools required to research, review, and update account-level data and information.
The Data Quality Associate is responsible for working with the IT Project Leader and Business Analyst on data quality management (DQM) and data integrity along with development of projects that establish the rules that will be used for data quality and data integrity management.
Works with external Dun and Bradstreet data to improve the quality of that information.
Works to set up DQM processes and procedures conducive to retention of cleanest data possible and improve the quality of that data.
Identifies organization and person parties that should be related, but are not, and corrects.
Deliver DQM data quality processes.
Use Oracle's DQM tools and processes to minimize duplication.
Conducts data standardization activities for improperly entered or imported data.
Documents all rules, processes, and workflows connected with the DQM (Data Quality Management) function.
Assists in setting up and facilitates meetings to assist in making TCA (Trading Community Architecture) decisions and provide strategic and tactical guidance.
Responsible for maintaining the D&B data and its integration with Oracle E-business.Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating abilities to understand abstract customer models and apply them to work problems.
Facility with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Oracle E-business Suite or equivalent ERP Platforms such as SAP.Essential Qualifications & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with ASTM colleagues, all levels of management, vendors etc.
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills displaying cooperative attitude and flexibility.

Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude.
Familiarity with data warehousing or data management processes a plus
Familiarity with data cleansing processes and procedures a plus
Working knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite, and particularly Oracle Customers Online a plus
Experience with Oracle Trading Community Architecture (TCA) environment a plus
Experience with Dunn and Bradstreet data and integration with Oracle E-business Suite a plus
Project management experience a plus
Ability to conceptualize policy directives and post material in a reference format for staff.
