Senior IT Security Analyst
The Senior IT Security Analyst is responsible for assessing security needs and capabilities of the organization. Provide support in the development and implementation of security controls for clinical and finance applications. Understand security architecture and coordinate the implementation of changes in security.
Our client's expectations for a candidate
SIEM, IDS/IPS, AV, Firewalls, LAN/WAN, HIPAA and JCAHO standards, etc.
CISSP, OSCP/E, GIAC or SANS certifications preferred.
Work with internal and external auditors to respond to needed requests, suggestions and security related findings.
Work with application build teams to understand the security architecture and coordinate the implementation of changes
Assess security needs and capabilities of the organization.
Prepare reports to IT management concerning the current state of security.
Maintain and revise the overall security program.
Identify, recommend, and develop revised policies and procedures relating to information security.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related degree, or equivalent job experience.
5+ years of computer systems experience in information security (healthcare preferred).
Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN, data processing and programming concepts.
Design, build and manage global mission-critical 24x7 organizations.
Active Directory, Enterprise Windows OS, VBScript, Qualys, SQL, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IDS/IPS, etc.
TCP/IP, VPN, wireless networking, etc.
CISSP, OSCP/E, GIAC or SANS certification strongly preferred.
