Software Support Analyst/Helpdesk Support/IT Support Analyst
A market-leading global software developer for the recycling industry is looking for a Software Support Analyst to join their UK office in Huntingdon.
Their software applications consist of a complete ERP solution including Accounting, CRM and Logistics systems plus various mobile apps. Since 1985 they have been implemented worldwide and currently they have over 600 customers and over 20,000 daily users of their software.
They are looking for a jack-of-all-trades' confident, customer-focused Software Support Analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of support to their customers.
Log and manage customer's software support issues to help find a fast solution via their CRM system
Support our customers and help them benefit from the use of their software products
Specify and document new program requirements, communicate with customers to determine priority of enhancements to applications, and work with their software developers in delivering these enhancements and modifications to the customer
Create and maintain training documentation, user guides, best practices, knowledge base articles, methodology for new functionality and features
Coordinate escalated technical issues with their Head Office support team in Munich
Remotely help and configure their software products for the customer's specific requirements including regular software program updates
General housekeeping including record keeping, data backups and maintenance of their website
IT/helpdesk related or customer service desk background is preferred
Educated to ideally A Level standard, English, Maths, IT or Business Studies preferable
MS-SQL Server and/or German language experience an advantage but not essential
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ideally networking products including Windows Server and Terminal Services
Able to produce good quality correspondence and documentation
Problem solver with good analytical & communication skills (written and spoken) to technical/non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, under pressure and within set deadlines
Self-motivated and able to learn/resolve new software and business processes in a prompt manner
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum + performance related bonus + pension + on-site free parking + extensive training to improve your skill set + progression opportunities
Comfortable and flexible local working environment (40hrs/week Monday-Friday), including 22 days annual holiday increasing to 25 days after 2 years' service
