My client is a fast growing business supplying a wide range of products to major retailers in the UK, Europe and the USA. They are looking for an experienced analyst to join our rapidly expanding team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
As Demand/Sales Analyst, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining forecasting models to predict customer demand across multiple channel types. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the Demand Analyst creates and maintains forecast models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources. This is a key role managing, coordinating, and influencing delivery from Sales Planning teams not necessarily within own sphere of influence, to ensure stock forecasts are delivered.
Experience of Far East sourcing or supply chain planning in a commercial role within a wholesaler or retail environment.
Working knowledge of a demand planning system (SAP, ZERO, Slimstock) either an off the shelf package or an in house excel based system is preferred
Highly numerate with strength in accuracy and attention to detail in a high output environment
Mathematically and analytically minded
Strong record of accomplishment in a similar role or a graduate in Mathematics/economics with some commercial experience.
Highly experienced in delivering client focused solutions based on clients need
